How to delete your account
- Sign in to Ride Guide.
- Open your account and choose Delete account.
- Optionally export your data first from the same dialog.
- Request deletion, then click the confirmation link we email you.
Deletion is permanent and signs you out. If you are the only admin of a Party that has other signed-in members, promote one of them to admin first.
What is deleted
- Your account, sign-in methods, sessions, name, email, preferences and profile picture.
- Your entry in every Party you belong to, and your votes and attendance in them.
- Activities you were the only attendee of.
- Any Party where you are the last signed-in member, with all of its data.
- Your join requests, and invites sent to your email address.
- Your name on invites you sent to others (replaced with "Deleted user").
What stays
- Parties that still have other signed-in members, including their manually added members.
- If you were banned from a Party, a salted hash of your email address - no name or account ID - so the ban survives re-registration. See our privacy policy.
- Anonymous account IDs in the edit history of Party documents. They hold no name or email, and we can't rewrite that history.
